Making Mocktails With Essential Oils

You might be used to using essential oils for aromatherapy, or even as a way to jazz up water or a smoothie. However, there are countless other innovative ways to use Miracle Essential Oils in your daily life.

If you’re trying to wean off alcohol, but still want to socialize with friends, “mocktails” are a charming alterative to your typical happy-hour drink. Adding a drop or two of Miracle Essential Oils can help enhance certain flavors in your “mocktail.”

We’ve put together a few great pairings for your latest mocktail adventure! Each recipe makes two servings, so invite a friend or loved one over to enjoy these delicious mocktails together.

Grapefruit “Mojito”

Grapefruit Essential Oil Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 1 large pink grapefruit
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 4 ounces lime-flavored seltzer or sparkling water
  • 2-3 drops Grapefruit Miracle Essential Oil
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • Ice (as desired)

Directions:

  1. Squeeze out the juice of the grapefruit and limes; filter through a mesh strainer if desired. Stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
  2. Prepare your glasses to your liking. For one drink, fill a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice, 2 oz lime-flavored seltzer or sparkling water, 1-2 drops of Grapefruit Miracle Essential Oil, and a few torn mint leaves. Vigorously shake until well combined, and pour into your glass.

Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients:

  1. In a pitcher, thoroughly stir all ingredients together except ice. Once the ingredients are well combined, add the ice. Divide your Lavender Lemonade into two glasses and serve immediately. For a sweeter flavor, add more raw honey or try a touch of agave nectar.

Passion “Cosmopolitan”

Ingredients:

  • 1 fresh lime
  • 1-2 tsp raw honey
  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz passion or hibiscus tea, brewed and chilled
  • 2-3 drops of Orange Miracle Essential Oil
  • 4 oz seltzer or sparkling water
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Squeeze out the juice of the lime. Stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
  2. Prepare your glasses to your liking. For one drink, fill a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice, 1 oz cranberry juice, 1 oz chilled passion tea, 1-2 drops of Orange Miracle Essential Oil, 2 oz of seltzer or sparkling water, and a bit of ice. Vigorously shake until well combined, and pour into your glass.

Blood Orange “Bellini”

Ingredients:

  • 1 large blood orange (2 slices for garnish)
  • 1 fresh lemon
  • 1 tbsp. raw honey
  • 2 oz peach juice
  • 4 oz seltzer or sparkling water
  • 2-3 drops of Motivation Essential Oil

Directions

  1. Peel the blood orange, and set aside two pieces for garnish. Squeeze out the juice of the remaining blood orange, as well as the lemon. Stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
  2. Prepare two champagne flutes. For one drink, fill a flute with 1 oz peach juice, ½ of the blood orange and lemon honey mixture, 2 oz of seltzer or sparkling water, and 1-2 drops of Motivation Essential Oil. Stir if needed and serve immediately.

Mango Pineapple “Pina Colada”

Mango Pineapple Pina Colada

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen mango, diced
  • 4 oz coconut milk
  • 4 oz pineapple juice
  • 2-3 drops DeStress Miracle Essential Oil
  • Handful ice
  • 2 slices pineapple, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine all of the ingredients above. Blend until the ice is crushed.
  2. Pour the mixture into glasses and garnish with a slice of fresh pineapple.
